I'm still processing everything from last night's ep. I just...is it September yet? My show is never allowed to go on hiatus.

Okay, number one: Go read this. I have been waiting for Georgia to post this. It's Jared/Sandy/Jensen and HOMG HOT!

Number two: has anyone ever participated in the something store? I was thinking about grabbing something.

Number three, and probably most important: who's going to the Dallas con? If you are, do you have a room?

I want to put together a bag to bring to the Dallas con and carry all my pictures/camera/badges/what-have-you. I'm trying to pick out certain fabrics so they'll be SPN-themed (don't look at me like that. It's a con for the freaking show, so yes, I want to be that girl).

I've already decided on this one for the inner liner. I'm also considering this and maybe this for the outer panels, though I'm not thrilled with the second one. I was literally two seconds away from grabbing Rock Royalty from here, until I realized it was freaking $25/yard. I did find one on Ebay for handcuffs, and no one in the world makes pentagram fabric.

Soooo, any suggestions?

The moment SPN does anything with a ventriloquist dummy or a Chucky-like doll, I'm freaking out. Everyone in America will be able to hear me scream. Just FYI. They've already terrorized me with clowns.

Those of you familiar with my report of the Fangoria con might remember how my "I'm from the Internet" t-shirt was a topic of discussion. Jared just seemed so entertained by it. Would it be completely over-the-top if I got one to give to him at the Dallas con?

In different news, I'm rereading Watchmen in anticipation of the movie. I forgot how much of an asshole The Comedian really is. It's going to be so weird watching JDM play the part. No, really guys, so incredibly weird.

God, my friends list is a pretty place today.

Everyone has pretty much said everything I've wanted to about this week's SPN, but I WILL nitpick one thing:

My usual SPN watching buddies canceled on me (I think. It would be nice if they CALLED), and the man is at work until 10pm, which means for the first time in ever, I'll be watching the episode alone. Which means I can cheer, scream, cry, and do all the things I normally want to but CAN'T because there are other non-insane fans around.

This had better be a cheer-scream-cry type episode, otherwise I'll demand my money back.

And no, that was not an invitation to spoil me. I know nothing about the ep other than the title, and frankly, I didn't even want to know that.

Okay brain, now is NOT the time for plot bunnies. Stop it.

I'm throwing this out to the masses because I sure as hell don't have time for it. ( Spoilers for Mystery Spot, cut because with my luck I'd have the one person on my flist who hasn't seen it )

A bunch of people at work decided to say "fuck the tyrannical regime!" and got me cake and card anyway. And made everyone sing. And my cubicle was pretty much destroyed by streamers, confetti, and mini monkeys. No, really, monkeys. I'll show you pictures once I get the chance to upload them.

An experiment:

It's ren fair season, so we're going to spending a good chunk of our weekends up in Waxahachie at Scarborough Faire. Normally, I'm all dolled up in my pirate garb, but I've declared tomorrow shopping day, and let me tell you, it is much easier to try on clothing when you're not strapped into this bad boy (mine has fabric lacing rather than the lock and chain, but you get the idea).

That said, I will be wearing this. I want to see if anyone stops me and goes "dude!"

(off topic: I went to the Creation site to grab that shirt image. Has anyone else seen that "You might be a SPN addict if..." poster? I don't think I'd spend $10 on that.)

By the way, if anyone in the area plans on going some weekend, let me know! We'll try to meet up!

1. Mental Floss did an article on 8 Fairy Tales And Their Not-So-Happy Endings. I've read the Grimm versions they mentioned, so some of those I'm pretty familiar with (I actually liked The Juniper Tree). But yeah, the original Little Mermaid... *whew*

2. I'm kinda in love with my friend Mike. He sends messages like:

Sex is awesome.

P.S., man my butt is sore.

Just completely out of the blue. Of course, he also knows I'm one of the few who is more than ecstatic about him finally being able to spend time with his man.

3. I want to go get my ears pierced again, but since I'm looking for another job, I might wait until after the interviews are done, thank you very much.

4. I'm back to keysmashing a little bit. Fic is slowly coming along. Slowly...

5. I like sick days, except for the tiny fact that I'm sick.

6. I want evil!Winchester fic for my birthday. That, or RPF where one of them is actually a real hunter and tried out for the part because he was worried about the "stupid actors" working with authentic props and possibly unleashing hell on earth. Or both, I'm not picky. :)

Edit: 7. I'm pimping scottchurch again. Now, I'm putting this in bold letters so no one misses it: NSFW. He works with mostly nude women, and he posts the pictures outside of cuts, so view at your own discretion. The reason I'm pimping his work is because I love the fact that his models are not your standard Barbie prototypes. Yes, he does work with some girls who have modeled for Playboy and the like, but a majority of the women (and men) are your normal, everyday folks. One of his most recent photos, "the mistake that I know I am," literally left me speechless.
